Note: These instructions are based on Windows 98, but
other Windows systems should be similar.

You will need a program such as Winzip (www.winzip.com)
to unzip the files before you can use them.

After you download the zip file, unzip the icons to a 
place where they will not be moved.  Remember where 
you put them!

(1) For My Computer, Network Neighborhood, Recycle Bin:  
Go to Control Panel, then  Display, and click on the 
Effects tab.  Choose the icon you want to replace and 
click the "Change Icon" button.  Use the Browse button 
to find the icon from wherever you unzipped it.

(2) Shortcuts:
To create a shortcut, right click on a folder, program, 
or file and choose "Create Shortcut".  This new icon can 
be dragged to your desktop and will provide a direct link 
to the original file.  To use your new icons, right click 
on the shortcut and choose Properties.  Then click the 
Change Icon button and use the Browse button to find where 
you unzipped the icons.
