Sports fans, are you game for a party?

It's OK to drink from a foreign cup, really, it is -- unless it's Germany, in which case it may sport a picture of David Hasselhoff. And how 'bout those Miami Heat? The NBA champs will be partying at Mansion tonight after the big parade, so be careful you're not trampled by overzealous fans. Some Heat players will also be at DJ Irie's charity golf tourney tomorrow at the Miami Beach Golf Course, in case you want to go and congratulate them. Among the celebs confirmed to tee off: MTV's Nick Cannon, The Sopranos' Robert Iler (he plays Soprano son A.J.), Chris Kirkpatrick and Joey Fatone of 'N Sync, the Heat's Udonis Haslem, Alonzo Mourning and Shaquille O'Neal -- who we're told will not be playing, but will be there for support -- Dan Marino and more. All proceeds will benefit the Miami HEAT Charitable Fund. If you're already over basketball, several local hot spots are also offering World Cup food and drink specials -- even if many of the supposedly good games happen to be in the middle of the week and in the afternoon, no less. Whether you play hookey, hockey, Heat or soccer, it matters not because the options are aplenty, and when it comes to the universal language of booze, it's all just a big blur anyway. Among the local spots sporting soccer jerseys -- figuratively, we hope -- are 14 Thirty Five and Bahia at the Four Seasons Hotel on Brickell where bars will be outfitted with multiple flat-screen TVs and special hours to offer soccer fans a jolt of espresso with their vodka before the morning matches kick off. Themed events are also planned for all weekend and final games with signature cocktails and food. For more Four Seasons World Cup info, call 305-358-3535.

Right next door at the Conrad Hotel, diehard English soccer fanatic, Chef Michael Gilligan of the fabulicious Atrio Restaurant and Noir Bar has created a special World Cup lunch menu available until the games end. Among the items: The Pele, a Kobe beef burger, the Maradona, a churrasco steak sandwich, and the Beckham, a baked crab cake. Baked, huh? For models who fancy the sport, Gilligan is offering the Posh Spice -- a piece of lettuce with a fleck of cayenne pepper and a lemon wedge. Just kidding.

The soccer mania continues over at Amendment XXI Lounge, 190 NE 46th St., Miami, where featured weekday and weekend games will be accompanied by $3 Miller Lite specials. Beer and chips will be de rigueur at the Raleigh Hotel, 1775 Collins Ave., Miami Beach, where all matches will be shown in the Oasis Cabanas outside or, if it rains, in the ballroom. Another unlikely spot for rowdy sports viewing is the staid Ritz-Carlton Coconut Grove, 3300 SW 27th Ave., which is showing all games live in the Mediterranean bistro within the hotel's main restaurant Bizcaya. From raised pinkies to raised eyebrows, SushiSamba Dromo, 600 Lincoln Rd., Miami Beach, is really getting into the games with special food and dancers to distract from the game and onto different types of bouncing orbs.

If soccer isn't your thing, the National Hotel, 1677 Collins Ave., Miami Beach, has introduced Decadeux Saturdays, in which any two items off the menu of the hotel's French fusion restaurant Tamara can be yours for just $35 plus tax and gratuity. The promo runs through July and the valet parking is free with dinner. Not a bad deal. A brilliant idea on the part of the Pop Lifers is the indie gathering's new Sunday night 'do at The Standard. Lovelife, as it's known, is Pop Life's newest offering where, from 6 p.m.-midnight every Sunday, you can lounge and listen to live music, view art, sound and performance installations, or, if you're too hot for all that, just jump in the pool. Valet parking is $4. For RSVP, e-mail info@epoplife.com.

Before you come up for air, let it be known that Gary James informed us that the return of the Avenue A parties will commence on the auspicious date of Friday, Oct. 13, at the soon-to-open GEM in the old Living Room space at 671 Washington Ave. From GEM to GenArt, the arty organization is throwing a big shopping-themed soiree from 7 to 10 tonight at Blvd., a new condo at 3360 Biscayne Blvd. The party features sounds by DHM, fashion, cocktails, music, spa treatments, and free Bailey's ice cream sundaes, so forget about buying that smaller size pair of jeans. Just suck it up and RSVP to rsvpmiami@genart.org.
