Chris, Hey there. My name is Debbie. Nice to meet you too. Okay, now that introductions are out of the way, let's get to the good stuff. Oh, and I don't plan for this to be a gushy fan letter, so please feel free to stop me at anytime if I start down that road. ;-) I guess I am not what most people might call a "typical fan"of yours. I am a 20 year old junior communcations major in college. But in my opinion good music is good music, and if the music touches you then nothing else should matter. I ignore the comments sometimes sent my way and just focus on what makes me happy, and that is music. You and your friends have pretty much provided the soundtrack for the past 3 years of my life. I was a junior in high school when your album hit stateside. That is a time in you life that you will remember forever- your last years of high school, the freedom you feel during the summer after, the transition to college, the beginning of the rest of your life- and I am very glad to have found your music to immortalize it for me. Hearing your voices haromize will forever bring memories back to me, some pleasant, some painful, all of which I would never trade for the world. Each time I hear these songs I think back and smile, or shed a tear, and I thank you for creating such a withstanding and timeless way for me to capture these parts of my life. I look forward to many more years of memories interwoven with music and I hope that your voice remains part of them for a long time to come. I also wanted to thank you for touching my life by just being the person you are. You inspire me each day with your dedication to your craft, to your family, friends, and fans, and most importantly, to yourself. Whether it is intentional or not, you have become to so many people a shining example of determination, dedication, humility, and kindness. You have been given a gift- not just the gift of song, but to have the opportunity to make a difference in the lives of so many people. And to embrace it as you have, creating your music, working with charities, making people smile, and most importantly, through your words, actions, and even through FuMan, you inspire people to believe in themselves and never give up on their dreams. You have touched alot of lives, Chris, and I really hope it makes you feel good about yourself to know that. I am very glad that you have touched mine. Thank you, once again. Take care and may God Bless. Debbie, 20 Cleveland, Ohio debbie@kirkpatrick.nu
