It all started in April of 1999 when I went on a four day trip to Toronto, Canada with some people from school. (To let you know, I wasn't really into boybands at the time. Actually, they kind of got on my nerves...too whiney for me!) One of my friends brought her portable CD player, and during the bus ride up from Cincinnati, Ohio, she handed me her headphones and told me to listen. I was like, okay, and I put the headphones on. I had no clue what song it was or who sang it, but I found out that it was "I Drive Myself Crazy" by 'N Sync. The first verse started, and as soon as I heard that voice, I fell in love with it. It was so awesome, I had the first verse stuck in my head the whole time I was in Canada!
After I was back home, I looked up 'N Sync on the 'net. The search results turned up tons of pictures and biographies for the group and each of the guys. I just skimmed through some of the information and then saved it onto my computer. A few days went by and then I saw the "I Drive Myself Crazy" video on MTV. It totally caught me by surprise! I heard that high voice, and immediately stopped what I was doing to look at the TV. I was like, "Whoa! It's the dude with the dreads...cool!" So I looked further into the biography of Christopher Alan Kirkpatrick and found out that we share a lot of the same interests and have a lot in common...
